Yep, we’ve finally pulled the plug on our long-overlooked friend, the Daily Grub. Time to get with the times, we figured, and put a bit of weight behind launching a blog more befitting our matured sensibilities. Or lack of matured sensibilities. Whatever. Just say hi to the GrubLog, okay?
The three fans of our previous blog surely noticed the improved aesthetics. Yes, it’s fresher than a spritz from a jug of Drakkar Noir. But that’s not the only thing we’re changing. For one, we’re just going to post when we have something to say, as opposed to the old model (blogging just to…blog?). And the content’s going to be a little different, too. Let’s pull back that curtain.
Cue dramatic reveal…
- GrubHub itself (me, us, we) will fill your sweet souls with news and infotainment in the form of…news and infotainment. Spotlights will be beamed on everything from employees to restaurants to cuisines to data. We’ll also be using this thang as a propaganda tool for the contests we’re hosting on social. OMG.
- Our beloved co-founder and president, Mike Evans, will graciously deliver wisdom on steering an ever-growing ship – insight into the Customer Service army required to do things right, our company’s culture, …
- The other co-founder/CEO guy, Matt Maloney, will be spinning yarns re: product launches, charitable wizardry and other blog-worthy news bites. Like, when we’re finally ready to launch that [insert hypothetical product here]? Matt will tell you about it. Right here.
Ain’t that something? A company blog! One-stop shopping for GrubHub-branded knowledge. Dreams are coming true; we can smell it. So keep coming back, we’ll keep loading this place up with bloggy magic. Because, hey, with a name like GrubLog, it’s gotta be good.
